For more than 35 years, Vidyanikethan, a not-for-profit organization has been improving the lives and livelihoods of individuals and families, especially children and women, from low-income groups and from the vulnerable, marginalized and under-developed sections of the society.

Based in Bangalore, (India) Vidyanikethan’s interventions in five key areas- education, health, socio-economic development, natural resources management and community development, has led to thousands of children, youth and families accessing opportunities to be empowered and improve their overall way of living. The interventions that facilitate the improvement in their overall conditions include awareness programs, capacity building programs, and various field based activities.
