Sri Vidyanikethan school

Sri Vidyanikethan School, started in 1988, teaches children from pre-primary to 8th Standard at highly subsidized rates, affordable for families living below the poverty line. The timely support of AFP (Asian Foundation for Philanthropy), an international organization, helps to sustain the momentum as it has sponsored many of its children. The school has also got significant support from Accenture, a leading corporate. The teaching experience is further enriched by regular interaction with parents and volunteers from the corporate industry, with different specialized skills. 90% of the children studying in Sri Vidyanikethan School come from families living in slums in neighboring slums.
